It’s fair to say that Donald Trump is a polarising character.
However, love him or hate him, it’s clear that the world is fascinated by him. In November 2016, over 83 million people Googled ‘Donald Trump’.
Surprised by the phenomenal level interest, we wanted to know what else people were Googling about ‘Small Hands’. More accurately, what are the weirdest things the world wants to know about the 45th President of the United States? Enjoy!
Does Donald Trump wear a bathrobe?
Last month, following the publication of an article by the New York Times, White House press secretary, Sean Spicer, was forced to issue a remarkable statement calling for the publication to issue an apology to the President.
So, what was it that angered Trump so much? Apparently, it was the suggestion that he wears a bathrobe around the White House. The offending passage read: “When Mr Trump is not watching television in his bathrobe or on his phone reaching out to old campaign hands and advisers, he will sometimes set off to explore the unfamiliar surroundings of his new home.”
Seems innocent, enough doesn’t it? Not according to Spicer, who told reporters: “That story was so riddled with inaccuracies and lies that they owe the president an apology for the way that things was written.”
He later added: “I don’t think the President owns a bathrobe. He definitely doesn’t wear one.”
Case closed?
Of course, it wasn’t long before the internet caught on to the ridiculousness of the situation and a parody account popped up on Twitter called POTUS’ Bathrobe after an image of Trump wearing, you guessed it, a bathrobe, emerged online.
Oh I exist.

What is Donald Trump’s number?
Forget texts, tweets and emails, you know things are getting serious when people are willing to actually pick up the phone and make a traditional phone call. If you’re one of the 2,400 people who searched for Donald Trump’s number last month, be sure to let us know if you found it. And what were you going to say to him?
Is Donald Trump bald?
There’s one BIG and FLUFFY statement Donald is well known for – his infamous barnet. Over the years his hair has been compared to everything from “the inanimate object that straddles his head like a dead, furry lobster”, to a “cotton candy hairspray labyrinth”. Is Donald Trump bald? Is Donald Trump’s hair real? One thing is for sure, we may never know, but that’s not going to stop us from asking. In fact, we asked Google 4,400 times in January.
Keen devotees of Trump’s hairline may be interested to know that last month Trump’s longtime physician, Dr Harold Bornstein, claimed publicly that Trump takes a drug that’s commonly used to treat male-pattern baldness.
Who is behind Donald Trump?
A rather curious search term this one. After all, why did 2,400 people in November 2016 care enough to worry about who is walking behind Donald Trump? We don’t. It’s probably a comb-carrying Minion anyway.
Yes, we’re joking (or are we?). However, the question of who is puppeteering Donald Trump has been the subject of much media speculation in recent months.
How is Donald Trump doing today?
Whether those individuals searching for news on Trump’s wellbeing are genuinely concerned about his emotional state, or simply curious for news on his latest polarising political statement, we’re unsure. We’re sure he’ll be pleased to find out that in January, 390 thoughtful people worldwide took to Google to ask this question.
Does Donald Trump?
In January, 1,600 people wanted to know if Donald trumps. Really!?
